StarHub contract plan for mobile phone is not attractive at all. Go to Singtel instead.

there are no perfect mobile plan out there!

When the Telco design their mobile plan, they have the target market in-mind (niche market) that not for everyone.

with so many Telco & MVNO and various SIM plan, you can switch to one telco to another easily.

Don't stick with one Telco, change whenever is suite you.

For me, I don't want to waste time to contact Telco anymore.
Most of the CSO can't do anything by giving consumer a special offering as their Average revenue per user (ARPU) is getting lower now.

Actually b4 we intend to switch plans (SIM or discounted set 2yr plan) we can ez chk out the websites for info. Compare it carefully, narrow down to the plan tat u wanted - w handset discount 2yr plan or SIM plan only. Compare the overall pricing w handset added in. No point call up CSO n ask abt the plans they offer. Quite unclear when they explain to u over phone. U nd to look at the individual items n compare 1 by 1, w diff telcos s well.

For me bcos I nd a new handset, took me a few days n finally, I compare a monthly 16$ SIM only n 34.70$ (199$ S10 lite handset). So when calculated, getting a handset of equivalent model cost abt 800$, so getting 2yr plan is more worth it w better addons except data is lesser by 7GB. But i m ok cos 13GB is more than enugh cos i used wifi at home.

Take note over the years, the price plans hav been gg up across the board, only SIM plan is less than 20$, provided u don get a phone from them.

So TS, to minimise frustratn n confusions n time lost, pls stdy the plans yrself n decide for yr mum la. The prices r lik tat ma, kpkb no use too.

Over last 6years, I hav port from ST to SH to ST, then nw to M1.

there is no perfect plan. correct.

however, there is always a 'better' plan. as long as two things are not identical, definitely can differentiate which one is better.

with no contract plans all around nowadays, indeed one can easily switch to any without any concern.
