Porting over from Circles.Life

Understand that Giga would take care of the porting from Circles.Life (the provider that I am porting over from) - however, how do I ensure that I won't be charged by Circles.Life in the following month's bill cycle? I tried to my cancel Circles.Life line but would risk number being terminated instead of being ported over to Giga?

How does Giga bill cycle work? Based on the month? Which means if I activate on 31 Oct, I end up paying for a month?

Need some advice.... Thanks.

Pls activate your line by today (29 Oct), early afternoon. Porting will only occur on weekdays night, and typically submission beyond a certain time (3-6pm depending on Telco), will only be processed the next working day or two. If before the cutoff time, porting will typically be done the same day or next weekday.

If you do tomorrow (30 Oct), there's a chance where it won't be ported out on the same night, and next port in will occur after Nov starts. Circles will charge full amount for the month of November, no prorate.

And no, Giga doesn't charge based on the 1st of each month. It's a 30 day recurring cycle, down to the very minute.

I notice that it is not exactly a 30 day recurring cycle, according to my experience.

Signed up 2 lines.

1) Activated on 1st October 0000 hours -> data renews on 1st November 0000 hours.
2) Activated on 30th September 2359 hours -> data renews on 30th October 2359 hours.

Notice the vast difference? The activation timestamp of the 2 lines was only 1 second apart, but the data renewal is now a whole day apart.

I wonder what is the data renew date for someone who activated his line on the 29th of February.

Hi hi, your giga dashboard will display your cycle renewal countdown – which starts when you activate the giga sim successfully. Your renewal date happens on the Xth day of every month. If the renewal date falls on the 29/30/31 day of the month, and the next month does not have 29/30/31, the renewal day will happen on the last day of the next month.

Just gotten my sim card, is there a need to change the apn settings as instructed on the the app? Because mine works even though I did not change.

What's your phone model? Did you attempt a speed test using Speedtest app? What does the speed test app shows? 4G LTE or 5G? Able to provide screenshot?

Bluff you for what. But the speed is pathetic.

Notice that you using phone browsers runnng the test. For myself I get better result when using the Speedtest app instead running it via the browser

Got 5G again.
Clearly says Giga here.
Anyways the speed is pathetic. LTE speed test was 2 times faster than it.
