hey guys, think i made a slight mistake here. jumping from circles to giga. but my circles cycle is from 1st to end of month. i just signed up for giga today.

understand bo pian circle life will charge me for this month liao. but just wondering, can i delay port in to giga?

Delay your activation of your SIM. Once you receive, don't pop sim in, dont use the app to activate. Not sure if it works,

dun think so rite? i think it should be similar to MyRepublic that once delivered, considered activated. one does not need to even use the SIM for it to be activated?

dun think it works the same way like credit card activation.

Just $2 delivery.

Thanks just signed up for my brother to use for SafeEntry in his workplace.

His prepaid card not worth to use for costly data.

I can confirm for Giga, if don't open the app or insert SIM card, it won't be activated yet. But of course how long the sim card will remain valid if you delay activating it after delivery is unknown.

i see. so the billing only starts after inserting the SIM card to device?
this is totally different comparing to MyRepublic Mobile or even other sim only plans.

ok. if that's the case, actually not bad. because i have signed up and requested for delivery of the SIM card on this friday (5 June) but i dun need to use the sim yet, maybe I will delay until 1 July then activate it.

Probably don't push your luck too far, who knows if they might invalidate your sim card if you leave it unactivated for so long.

yes, i saw this $12 charge immediately on my credit card transaction histroy even and i have yet to receive the SIM Card. MyRepublic Mobile only charge $10 on the exact delivery date.

So this comes back to my earlier question, does activation date = billing start date? maybe one can really delay the activation, however, does it really delay the billing start date?

I won't try to push my lucl too far I dun want to lose the number that I had managed to grab too. haha.

Moi can't wait to switch over to giga once moi singtel contract ends :s12:

why so excited? haha.

Activation date and time is the billing cycle. Yes,it is up to the exact mins for the data reset per month. Personally I have drag the activation for 2 weeks for my current giga sim. Not sure how far you can drag. But I previously check with the CS that there is no deadline to activate the sim.

Is there any problem with Giga live web chat? I click "Live", no Q and agent to respond to my queries

Anyway, just wanted to ask them y "STAYHOME" code doesn't work.

Lastly, first month 25GB for $20, after that back to 20GB?

I remembered I told u guys that I was not asked to upload any ID doc during the signup.

Indeed it did not ask it. As you guys can see from below. Only 3 steps to sign up a number. Totally no need to upload any document.

Same for signing up StarHub Sim only also.

Weird, after I selected the number, it prompt me for verification of NRIC or real time verification.

Or could it be possibility that you have signed up with them before, hence the second line onwards they have already captured your identification?

No I never sign up giga before.

However, it is indeed taking only three steps to compete the order.

Received the SIM card. No SIM ejection tool. Too bad. Haha.
I just flashEd the NRIC to the delivery guy and I got my SIM. He did not even take it to verify nor see if my address on the back of IC matched etc. Dun even need to sign to acknowledge the delivery.
