but again, i went to check with my friends who are on the router and iPhone they said after changing it from 100 to 1 it solves the issue.

Perhaps now the problem lies with your iPhone/iOS?

Nope not true because like i mentioned earlier when i was on my old wifi router and on my note's wifi connection notifications work fine.

is other devices at home facing this issue or only iPhone?

My other phone the note is connected to hsdpa network so there's no need to connect to wifi so i'm not sure if it will work on wifi. The iphone does not have a 3G enabled sim card so uses the wifi to connect to the internet. Like i mentioned before it worked fine when connected to the note and the old router.

Hello, what speeds are everyone getting with international downloads? I'm directly connected to the modem on my 100Mbps fibre plan and the maximum speed I'm getting is 300kb/s

Anyone else with this issue? Switching to singnet, I get 1 Mb/s on a 50Mbps plan. Is Starhub throttling my internet speed?

shouldn't you check it before you sign up for it?

if so, why the question?

if not, now you know.

what's you guys speed for wireless??? my brand new N5402SP gives 30+Mbps down and 30Mbps up, MAX! use 3 different laptop right beside to test also same. no matter how i chnage the settings WPA2, N, and the beacon rate all etc. what a piece of wireless junk N5402SP. But the wired good. downstream i can hit 160mbps up got 70mbps

Any solutions to up the wifi throughput???

Called SH kpkb they tell me go fly kite talk to Dlink. Talked to Dlink but they treat me like junk promised will RMA and call me back but no call back.

who can SIC help me check with networking sexpert or the dlink/sh CEO see is it my limited knowledge problem or the router problem arh? tyty

please try with your note so we can isolate the issue.

iPhone can be not compatible with the dlink and vice-versa. If so, bo bian.

i am assuming your configuration on Dlink is WPA-2, 20/40 + AES.

if so, try switching to WPA2, 20, AES with channel to 1 or 11

well, change router will be a better bet. The dlink personnel is junk especially those in SG - they know nuts and can help you with NOTHING

after a recent exchange with them i know they know nuts i told myself to stop giving support to dlink thereafter.

speed isn't an issue for me. But I seems to have some issue staying login at some private torrents sites.

Its as though my cookies are off. Either the site keep prompt me to login or I just cannot login.
Anyone had similar issue?

Most likely the problem is at your end, test it out using other web browser.

BTW, I don't have issue with private sites since the day I switch to MIF. IIRC, the initial problem was with client being non-connectable.

I called D-link 24hour technical hotline. Guess what? That sexpert claims SH DVG N5402SP can hit speed less 10% transmission loss. so for my case MIF Elite i should expect 120-130Mbps on wireless. So he troubleshoot lor.. shoot shoot shoot change beacon rate all the rubbish. in the end say my set faulty. WTF... what kind of technical team is that. So tomorrow starhub coming to change new router for me.

really lame... i dare confidently say even if they change 10 D-link routers also cannot hit speed of less 10% transmission loss with that kind of crap hardware.

i going see tomorrow how that sexpert who's coming going to make my wireless 120Mbps. if he fails... hehehe..

impossible.

i think he thought it was dualband.
