Anyone able to try loading Yahoo! Singapore several times?

Sometimes it loads, sometimes it just shows 'waiting for yahoo.com.sg'.

Tried clearing cache and still no improvement.

Thanks. Can't seem to figure what's wrong.

Both the local and international version of YAHOO fails to load intermittently.

already tried clearing browser cache, use a different browser, tried plugging direct to ONT, with out without a router - same results. Web page sometimes refuses to load and sometimes it does.

Also tried on a different PC, same issue.

My Starhub 100MBPS is hitting 1MBPS based on speedtest. How ridiculous is that? Can someone advise on how i can improve this? Everything is stock, hardware and software.

You using wireless or Ethernet?

Mine is 10Mbps plan if Ethernet most of the time is 3 - 4 Mbps.

Your 100 dropped to 1Mbps is really crazy.

I'm on wireless. I know wireless is lossy, but surely not that bad? Even my old 6MBPS Singtel is not that bad.

Some advise please? I can't even load youtube videos properly.

1. we have zero knowledge on how far the distance between your device and router is

2. we have zero knowledge on your house infrastructure

3. we have zero knowledge on your wireless devices used and settings configured.

Big thanks for your reply. Well, there is clear line of sight from PC to router. Approximately 5 meters. As for settings, everything is stock, using my Asrock Z77 wifi function to connect. No changes has been made to the router settings nor windows 7 network settings. It's a brand new rig.

still we do not have an idea of what is it.

1. what is the stock configuration?

i think, your next option will be to call StarHub to assist you instead.

Hopefully they don't take away and give D*dink routers instead. But they surely got some agreement for their RG partnership.

till date, i have yet to see them switching the ONT to 1 with VoIP.

StarHub really is freaking slow in such areas only thing fast is the ShareHolders quarterly pocket $ jin kin.

As long as they are under NC, the RG will be here to stay.
