Nice! So my decision to buy at 2.71 is beginning to look like a bargain. How things changed in a week. :D

Can share how you gain yr insight to buy at 2.71? Even at 2.68 I also think it's quite expensive loh now keep going up up and up sianz. Is the worst over?

I think I mentioned that I was averaging up and 2.71 was a good entry pt for me because my average price would still give me some margin of safety.

I probably wouldn't have initiate a position at 2.71 if I did not already have some Starhub shares.

Is the worst over? That the 64 million question but I really dun think so.

Not my mission in life; that's why I maintain no blog. I prefer to be like 無名 in 風雲. The fact that he's one of the most skilful pugilist in the comics is purely coincidental. :s17:

Why not? At $3, starhub's dividend yield comes in at a decent 6+%; which is a lot more than many blue chip.

I think if Starhub maintains its dividend policy, $2.90 is possible by the next CD.

Luckily I decided to accumulate more on Monday. Almost wanted to stop myself and adopt a "wait and see" mode. :s13:

Then I finally convinced myself that such low prices may not be available any time soon. So, I "man up" and bought.

Looks like I made the right decision.

Also bought 1 lot of F&N t $5.37, looking good too. :s12:

Am willing to forgo the nov dividend and wait for the next one in may next year.

I also not very sure how this will pan out and hence unload half. If break 3 bucks, I might unload everything.... let's see how this play out.

I come across an interesting discussion on another forum that we are blinded by yield or a "yield pig"

Read the blog post and decide for yourself.

At this price, I believe Starhub is trading at a slight premium to its intrinsic value, offering in my opinion, little margin of safety to investors.
