Then Just put the router near the centre of the home and at a higher position a single router should do the job. The most add an extra router 710 but unlikely. My 4 room whole house 1 Nokia ONR already can cover. Unless your router location no good and the router is at low position.

Ok, i think should be consider high (head level) and near middle.
but then do you know if EB810V and HB710 signal coverage range? Wondering if should change to HB710 instead and save some money.

Last time I went to the shop, the CS dun even want to sell me the $29.55 plan. Recontract is the $45/month for ONR. Then I just show him the link and nego loh. Show that you really keen for the cheaper plan although is for new sign ups. But he only sell me ONT, ONR cannot

Can use Asus as main router and Beacon 2 as wired AP.

This ASUS must switch to 160 Mhz then it will be faster and get 1500mbps on wifi 6 laptop.

For internet speed, RT-AX82U is limited by the WAN speed of 1Gbps, so it is not possible to achieve > 1Gbps Internet speed over WiFi or wired connection (wired speed is also limited by the 1Gbps LAN port speed limit).

In order to achieve >1.5Gbps WiFi speed over the internet, the wireless router needs to have >=2.5Gbps capable WAN port.

Your previous Nokia XS-2426X-A ONR and current EB810v have 10G WAN port, so that you can get >1500Mbps wireless speed.

I just tesed with ZTE BE7200 Pro+ (2.5G WAN/LAN) with my Acer Swift 3 early 2021 model with Intel AX201 WiFi 6 adpter at about 3m distance. I can see the PHY Link speed is 2402 Mbps. The download speed is >1.6Gbps (1621.78Mbps) but upload speed is only at 1.1Gbps (1103.38Mbps).

All I can say is there are limitations and also depend on CSO

If you get those CSO that is law by law and go by the book, maybe find other CSO instead or go another shop

Usually those CSO in the shop are the same few ones who handle broadband customers

no choice want to use it a node as it is compact. or else change the whole setup to xiaomi or tplink HB710 walk in buy 3 units from starhub using my in law account.

Anything should be better than Lyra Trio (dual band AC1750).

Are you tring to use Ethernet backhaul or wireless backhau? Triband is better for wireless backhaul but they are not cheap.

If you can use Ethernet backhaul (got LAN ports in the rooms), then you have more choices and you can go with dual band routers.

BTW, I do not recommend ZenWiFi XD4/XD5/XD6 as the main router myself. It is better to have one stronger one like TX-AX6000 as the main AImesh router and then add XD4/XD5/XD6 as AImesh mesh nodes if you can use Ethernet backhaul.

If you can use Ethernet backhaul, you can also consider Asus TUF-BE6500 + ZenWiFi BD4 combination.
