Hi all,

Seems like the previous thread was removed by Mod... Anyway I have a friend that will be attending the session on August 3, perhaps we can raise our questions again, and my friend can bring it up in the event.

the main question i have is:

How does stash away compare to its competitors (smartly, autowealth, etc)

How much better are they VS competitors?

My previous question in old thread.

Y Onli show performance for gfc in the white paper. I can't tell if the performance was optimized to do well for gfc Onli. I'm interested to know if the performance is robust across various crisis with different triggers.

Hello hello what you mean by that? Legitimate questions originating from forummers = salesman thread? Lol

/Edit on a serious note, shouldn't we discuss the attractiveness of financial services /products so that we all make more informed choices?

The questions I will ask, especially on dividend withholding tax:

https://www.stashaway.sg/r/etf-taxes-returns-and-tracking-errors

1. On table 1, how is AveNetRet for the last 2 columns is derived

2. How to reconcile the different closing timing between UK market and US market, considering that such difference could lead to an impact on the net returns

3. Is it possible that the dates chosen to compare IUSA and SPY are just an anomaly, rather than the norm? Has stashaway tested against other investment periods?

4. Do you agree that your tracking error works both ways(in the long run it shouldnt shortchange investors as they are equally likely to buy cheaper and more expensive), and hence it is unlikely that the the advantage of dividend withholding tax be negated by tracking error?

bookmarked and going to monitor the thread. Keen on this but worried with the risk.

What sort of risk are you worried about? There's nothing strange about Stashaway, it's just not particularly well-suited to Singaporean investors.

Guess you are talking about the part where there is no SGD denominated investments, I guess.

Or are you referring to anything else?
