Static Discharge on MBA 2013

Was using MBA with the AC cord supplied by Apple, using the AC Wall Plug (without any extension), not the Power Cord (with long extension).

I noticed that there is a tingling sensation when i touch my MBA on the surface of the aluminium chassis. It seems that the AC Wall Plug is not grounded? Cus when I switched out the AC Wall Plug and used the Power Cord, the static discharge is gone. Can anyone confirm that this is normal, or the AC Wall Plug in my package is faulty?

If you want a grounded plug, change the connector to the extension cable that came with your macbook.

It's better to use to cord, if not u will have the tangling static when u touch most of the areas.

It is normal. And has been asked so often that we have answered in the FAQ, the link to which is sticked in these forums.

Actually, my rMBP also has static discharge sometimes, even when I use the extension grounded plug. My office is carpet though.

What I do to counter this. Use simply paste a palm guard over the macbook. So there's not much contact to metal part.
