'static screen' after windows 7 loading

Hello,

my computer is relatively new, so i was surprised by this problem.

the computer will load on, shows the 'start windows normally or launch start-up recovery' screen, then the 4 orbs loading, then there would be a freeze of a static screen. grey vertical lines.

tried changing the ram, reinstalling windows (but then i cannot even see anything on the screen).

the motherboard is biostar B75MU3B

any ideas what is wrong?

Hi, are u using SSD for ur windows? try to change ur bios setting from SATA to IDE.
