Wow , captnj topped all of the chart for a long long time . Too strong to beat. New people coming in and my position is going down the drain .. this is bad!

I don't think captnj needs to worry for a long time. He's been training for like a decade. It ain't gonna be easy to beat!

Anyway, the list is getting kinda long. Does anyone have any ideas on how to format it? Perhaps even have a graphical bar for the weights so we can visually compare rather than just with numbers. Not sure if vbulletin allows any such code.

Another PR today on my deadlifts. Went from 5x127.5 to 5x130, but it was tough as hell. Woohoo got my #2 spot back(for now) :)

managed 65kg x 5 reps for bench press today,so hmm if going by the standard for 1RM,that will be 73kg?

Body weight now is 71kg

FireEmblem that's a high almost 20kg improvement over your previous bench 1RM! Do you wanna update me with the other 2 lifts so I can update them as a whole?

well actually the last record was 55 kg for 5 reps not converted to 1RM,which if converted=62kg so gain is just around +10kg

For squats and deadlift, since my lower back injury came back,i have stopped doing them since 3 weeks ago and still can't do them now, there was some improvement but well i cannot confirm if it is still that standard now so until i can go back to doing squat and DL hopefully in around 1-2 months time, those old figures would still be a better indication for now.

Oh, sorry, I just assumed it to be 1RM coz it wasn't stated I think? Anyway, what are you previous 1RM converted dl/sq numbers? Lemme know and I'll update it.

nah it is ok,when i first put in those stats,i did not even know that i should convert it for 1RM so that was just how it was.

Anyway converted for squat=65kg,convert for DL=56kg

captnj should contest for next year strongman challenge. Chaar is only 75+kg and he won the contest hands down among the top ten. if he can do it, captnj can do it better.

bro thanks for the vote of confidence. I feel strength level is not the area where i would be lacking. Strongman is a SPORT just like soccer:) - but more macho haah. But seriously there is SO much technique and equipment knowledge that i am behind in. That would be the difficulty in doing well. But im not against trying! See how la, 100m in 11sec is the key goal for next year though:)

Ahlete who does benchpress, deadlift & squat = Power Lifter.
Athlete who does running, swimming & cycling = Triathlon

Captnj = Power Lifter + Triathlon

What should we call him? Uber-Athlon :s13:

no problem for u man. there is this WO2 that won over me and another guy, has never done squat or deadlift before. basically he is a PTI for many years.

for our local event, agility is alot more important than strength. that is why there is Cat X, y and Z for IPPTs. i simply cant outrun those youngsters.

I think Jon can be an american football player. They're fast, athletic and strong. Or maybe even a competitive sprinter if he makes the 11s mark.

And FireEmblem, ok then I'll wait for the time when you wanna update the table again :)

Okay, small update.

I wasn't thinking about doing a maximal deadlift today, but then decided to see how far I could go.

No belt, no straps, no chalk. I did use strawberry soap found in the toilet to keep my hands from sweating though.

Bodyweight 91.5kg.

Raw 190kg. :)
