In case you people no-head-no-tail don't know what 67kg category FSM is talking, this is the link:
http://www.exrx.net/Testing/WeightLifting/StrengthStandards.html

FSM, I never say you want to challenge anyone, I'm saying not to compare.

If want, I repeat (for the Nth time), Benchmark yourself against the strength standard to see where you stand.

So what if you're stronger/weaker than other people here of your similar Ht/Wt?
- If you're weak, but compare with another 10 weaker guys, will you become strong?
- If you're strong, but compare with another 10 stronger guys, will you become weak?

I'll try 1RM on benchpress on coming Sunday, will give you a SMS on my result.

I want to see whether my benchpress strength can hit "Novice" level or not

As I mentioned (for Nth times), udpate is worthy only if you've reached significant milestones (Novice, Intermediate, Advance, etc); or BW x 1.25, x 1.5, x 2; or 100kg, 150kg, 200kg,...; or 150lb, 200lb, 300lb, ....;

Update on tiny little progress is meaningless, especially for beginners when there are many rooms for improvement.
(or if you're celebrity or hot Chio-Bu, then anything also please update, I'm interested)

No offence but what exactly is the point of going for 1 rep maxes at the stage of development you are at?
A true one rep max is a concept that you being a rank beginner would unlikely be able to fathom or comprehend. Also the form of a true one RM would somewhat differ from your usual training form as it is, after all a weight that you can lift for one rep maximum.
it would serve you better to try to increase your working weight every session that try one rep maxes here and there and get injured in the process.

Bench: 2 x 5 x 95kg...

Slowly creeping in on the century bench I hope! Possibly, and hopefully, in 4 or 5 weeks time.

Bw: around 69.
Bench: 1 x 3 x 100kg

Finally hit the century bench. Def had gas for 1 more rep. Yay.
1 week of enforced rest due to work had it's own silver lining afterall.
Shoulders felt fine, and decided to make like the bear and went in. Scared I was, but also strangely, had some confidence I'd hit it.

Wun count among form Nazis tho, bar was abt 2 inches away frm touching chest. Nv had a spotter before, so safety bars hv always been dem, and the rack holes are at chest ht.

In short, yay. Haha.
