That's deep enough, though it could be two inches deeper.

Don't worry, you're stronger than 90 per cent of people in commercial gyms.

regarding cowed's squat.. is it safe to do the 'jerk' near the top of the motion for extra push? the last time I did something similar, a pretty huge guy told me to go slower else I might hurt my lower back.. which is correct?

There was no "jerk", the move became easier once he cleared the sticking point.

so I take it that it's okay to do so? because after the guy corrected me, I squatted without that motion and it was slightly tougher

Sorry no. Oh you remember, ha, I took it down I think.

An interesting thing: I know most of the time when a warmup or a set before the heaviest set feels difficult, it's time to say gg and train smartly by calling it a day and not attempting the PR a lifter wanted to. However, sometimes it may take a weight-feels-heavy-but-i'll-purposely-add-more mentality for my bench press. It happened many times. Like 125kg was tough to me. Then my rational mind told me to back off, but the irrational mind told me to continue with 132kg. Turns out 132kg was easier than 125kg and I might have 1-2kg more in me.

I can only conclude that maybe it is because during my pre-PR sets, I tend to "underestimate" the weight a bit and think it would fly up, and in fact it is still a 95+% weight no matter what.

Height: 176
Weight: 68

1RM for the following,
ATG squat: 130
Front squat: 100
Deadlift: 200
BB Bench press: 125 w belt, 120 w/o belt
BB incline press: 90 (shoulder injury)
DB Bench press: 50/side x 4rep
Jerk (behind the head): 115
Power clean: 95
OHP: 80
Push press: 100

5RM for the following
Chest supported row: 85
Close grip bench press: 92.5
DB row: 50 (heaviest DB I can find)

Pull ups: 38
Pull ups 3Rm: 40

Deadlift and bench is on a 5/3/1 so unsure of real 1RM. Squat is on a 10x3rep.
I don't do standing rows, advice from uncle chay. Squats are still week. I don't do incline bench presses due to shoulder injuries in the past from it.

Don't do isolation exercises usually. All my success has came from all the compound movements.

Don't dare do infront the head jerk because cant drop the weights if I fail:/
