Steambox console build need some suggestions

just looking for possible parts and components to use if i were gonna build a console for steamOS.

just wondering what a good budget will be for a steamOS.
playing sourcebased games and other game like skyrim, etc
no need to go overboard on gpus i guess.
case and space important as its a console.

SteamOS is useless.
Very limited games that runs on LINUX.
Windows 10 and Directx12 are better.
Can always be a Win10 Insider and use Preview Version to be a Free Windows 10 User.

You have to be their member as long as you are using full Windows 10...

Go to Steam Big Picture Mode and use Xbox360 Controller.
Works on Windows.

imho this is the most dust proof casing liao.
only one fan intake and can remove the filter from the side for cleaning.



But it's M-ATX not ITX.

i had ROG GR6 gorgeous small "steambox" windows, you have to get the GTX 970 mini (minimum), don't go for such build unless you are so sure you are going to play just old games...

imo steamboxs are for casual gamers that don't give a **** for 60fps

Hogay saw liao. Since final production not out yet wait for them to response to feedback and add in the side air filter.
