How does the sound quality compare with px200-ii ? I have tried this and found it very light and comfortable.

Would anyone have a recommendation fpr a pair of earphones below $100? I've been using the Creative EP-630 and was relatively satisfied with that until it stopped functioning. Any chance that the T-Jays series on promotion would be a good upgrade? (I listen to most genres, from rock, pop to classical and musicals)

Went down to Stereo PS just now and tried the SE425,UM2,TF10 and UM3X. I have narrowed down to just the TF10,UM3X and UM2. Can someone help me make the decision? I like the sound of the TF10 but it sometimes comes out on the left. The UM3X just fits in just nice without much adjustments but I dont like the sound of it. Which should I buy?

I think ur ears may be of different sizes. Its quite normal. Perhaps buy the TF10s and use small tip on the left and medium on the right? After all, no point buying something u dont like.

Nope only the medium one. But I really liked the sound of the TF10 Sounds much more colorful than the UM2/3X

But one of the persons recommended me to use bigger on the left side. TF10 sound really sounds best Way better than my SF4

Then you should request to try different tips and sizes of tips..

sometimes you may need to wear different size of tips for each ear..

buy the one that makes you enjoy your music with the source you have..

or if you have extra money.. you can try portable amps with the um3x.. since it has a good fit for your ears..

you can also reshell the triple fi..

I would strongly suggest for you to go for the earphones you like most and find the suitable tips in terms of quality, fitting and size for that matter. You could try it with the Shure black soft flex, works well for me at least.

If it keeps falling out that means its either too big or too small. I'm making a guess that its too big thats why it squeezes itself out. Tips are easily changeable so it should not be a big issue for you.

i am having problem with the Shure triple flange tips bought from stereo about half year ago... it started to melted and turn oily.... it seem to seeping oil and even clogged the filter in one of the driver of my Shure E5C.. I am now using the soft black single flange but isolation is not as good..... BTW is there any other alternatives??? liek a triple flange black soft tips selling?

Oh okay. Looks like my decision is made. I'm getting a pair of TF10s
I really enjoyed the highs and mids of the TF10 as compared to my SF4 major upgrade!

Monster has their own range of tri-flanges. Let me check whether it's available as an accessory before i get back to you alright?
