Hi ,

what is the yield % of STI ETF (ES3) , based on dividends yearly ?
is now the good time to buy ?

think of this or repayment of housing loan with interest to CPF ? me turning 55 on oct 2020 with FRS , so i consider there will not be long lock-up for me .

It is ok now if u buy a bit periodically. If u buy with a lump sum, $3.10 may be a better entry.

If you have scb bank acct, u should use scb trading. It is very easy to use. Can set high/low alert to notify u. Min comms $10, or 0.2%.

Otherwise dbs vickers cash upfront also cheap. Min comms $10, or 0.12%.

Lol, $10k is considered lump sum to me. Since u r intending to buy regularly, $3.20 is a good start. Then try not to buy too much when above $3. :p

If you really want the segregation, then you may want to consider OCBC or POEMS.

4.1. Who can invest in ETF(s) through POSB Invest-Saver?
You will be eligible if:

You are at least 18 years of age at the date of application
You are not a US Person (as defined in the Terms and Conditions Governing Investment in Funds)
