[Storage] Flash drive issues!

Hi all,

Need some advice regarding flash drives. Initially I was able to use my flash drive today in the morning but however after I plugged out after use, when I tried to plug in again but this time the PC does not detect it anymore. I tried on other PCs as well but the result was the same. There are some important documents inside and I definitely hope to get them back. Any advice would be appreciated thanks

P.S Was using a Sandisk Cruzer Slice 8GB

Doesnt show up in Disk Management and no it's not detected even after trying to plug into mutiple PCs.

Suspect O/C between usb connector and internal PCB.

Went to look for Nigel at SLS and he opened it up to take a look but did not discovered anything either. He said it might be the chip overheated.
