5-10% buffer space usually for me. I don't have a hdd. Only a 750gb ssd.

Typically, your read and write stuff can put hdd, even games. Only OS and those productivity softwares and high end games put ssd as they require the speed. Otherwise, common stuff all put hdd.

I have lots of space in my SSD as I only store important programs and some games so don't really know when you will experience slow down. But from what I see most people say is to leave about 20% empty.

Would suggest you only store the games with long load times in the SSD, those load fast can store in HDD to save SSD space for ur other programs

I suggest you use the SSD only for OS and productivity programs, putting all games onto the HDD.

Depends on type of games as per other suggested above. Last time I played WoW it lagged when it was loading scenes when on HDD. With SSD, no such issues.

Most of my stuff on my NAS, and I have minimal stuffs to install. 2 of my rigs only have a small SSD and nothing else.

My gaming rig has an SSD and a 1TB HDD with hardly anything inside. Went to add this HDD in becos it has been lying ard for years and decided to put in in and not let it rot
