but the discount is only applied for North America, can we still do direct international shipping?

I suspect that caveat refers to customers of their North American website, as opposed to perhaps their European site. The promo code still worked for me.

Damn, I didn't know that or else I could save on shipping too. Was thinking that the promo code will work only if shipped to North America. :(

Will add up to around S$ 300 with shipping

199USD + 11USD for shipping ..

Not sure about tax but under $400 should be dont need right? correct me if im wrong, my order havent reach comgateway yet

I didn't know that their lowest is only US$11. Hope that crucial will package it well within 0.5kg.

my shipment just shipped from Crucial today..

was going to ship by borderlinx but got taxed. puzzled i checked cricual's website and Ohio, where borderlinx is based in, is a taxable state so..

tax for 128Gb is USD $13.5, so the 256Gb is USD $27, quite a big sum so i chose comgateway instead CGW facilities is based in Oregon, and is tax free.

not sure about vpost cause i dont use them.

fyi :o

make me gian liao...how much is C300 256GB? $950+?

More than that. Over $1K. I bought it at the last PC show. Didn't have a chance to fix up my rig until recently (all my parts are a few weeks/months old :().

Remember I am using the C300 256 GB in RAID0 using the Marvell SATA6 controller. RAID0 speeds should be better, but the Marvell SATA6 appears to be less efficient than Intel's ICH10R.

crucial website is down :(

^ also interested in a response to the above reply. considering he mentioned that 80gb x-25 cost $336, this 128gb really is a steal.

big differences in performance??

Thanks for the heads up.

Just ordered the 128GB model from crucial, USD 214.99 plus shipping. Paid by Visa.

Really unbeatable price :)

By the way the formatted capacity of my M225 128GB is 119.2GB in case anyone wants to know. Also it appears that my drive shipped with firmware version 1819, not the latest version 1916, so some dreaded firmware flashing might be necessary. Other users might want to take note of that.

Thanks, useful info. Let us know the results of your flashing. :D

My M225 128GB arrived today too. I was considering getting a 256GB as well until I read the user reviews on newegg.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16820148320

Strangely enough there aren't similar reliability complaints about the 128GB. Have any M225 256GB users experienced any reliability problems?

That was fast. Mine just reached comgateway but they will take up to 48 hours to turnaround. I think I will only get it by next week. :(

I remember reading those reviews but didn't recall that they relate to the M225 256GB when I bought it in a hurry to take up the offer. Any chance that I can RMA here if there is any issues?

Ah, i see. Maybe they haven't updated their site. Or trying to generate more sales for 256GB version.

Anyway payment is already processed, maybe out of stock they will have free upgrade to c300 model :D. (yeah right lol)
