Wonder how the Intel SSD 330 compared to the Intel SSD 320 as I realized that the 330 is cheaper compared to 320?

You want real world or benchmarks comparisons?

I went from Intel 320 120GB to Crucial M4 256gb, almost no difference at all for real world performance except when transferring very large files.

Thanks, so buying the Intel SSD 330 is a better choice than Intel SSD 320 now since the price for 330 is cheaper.

Will that means there will be no difference in real world too comparing the 330 with the 520?

It will depend a lot on what files and operations you do on your computer.

For the general user, you won't see very big difference between 330 & 520 except in large files transfers.

For VMWare purpose(loading 2 - 3 OS at a time), which 512GB SSD would be suitable?
SSD is for thinkpad w530, primary OS will be either windows/linux.

OCZ Vertex 4 or Crucial M4? Vertex 4 still giving any issues after Fw 1.5? any advice?

Thx.

I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 8 kakakaka. You mean that will cause the RAID Array error??

I was reading at Intel site if experience OS freezing and hangup should try to do low level formatting :S. And i thought using SSD is just like HDD, how come so much issues de.

Why need to upgrade from Win 7 to Win 8 ? You installing the free evaluation Win 8 copy , right ? Just install Win 8 directly will do.

In Office got a spare PC (About 3 years old AMD CPU) running Win 8 on a OCZ Vertex 2 SSD , so far no error or any problem.

I did fresh Win7 installation on my Intel 330 last Sat, so far so good never encounter freezing (touch wood)

Changed my BIOS SATA Controller set to AHCI Mode before installation. I follow this Solid State Drive (SSD) Tweaks for Windows 7

TRIM is enabled by default after installation. My BootRacer timing is 16 sec.
