It appears the main difference in specs between the V2 & O2 are 50K IOPS vs 10K IOPS, about 10Mb/s read/write speed, and native TRIM support.
Is the additional 40K IOPS worth US$34 (~S$45)?
.....
High IOPS are only important if you're using your computer solely as a server (file server, database server, etc) serving multiple client PC users in a network setup. If you are using the PC as a single user pc, then forget about paying extra for high IOPS harddisks. It's not necessary. Because by next year, when the new gen SSDs come out, their specs will supersede this year's SSDs, maybe even at a lower price.![]()
Just received my OCZ Vertex 2 120Gb from Linke Computer.
In perfect condition, they wrapped it in bubble wrap then in an external box, so there was double protection. I'm surprised at how light and small it is though.

There's only 1 brand of SATA3 SSD - Crucial.
Check out Newegg, best prices I've seen so far.
