So is 250 read and 70 write for the 80 gb version. Think the read is ok but the write is a bit slow as compare to Sandforce controller SSD.

I believe that is the main reason why the intel SSDs are cheaper than the Sandforce ones. write speed.

Sandforce controller SSD is rated at Read 285 and Write at 275 which out performance Intel SSD by so much. Even the C300 controller Read at 355 but Write at 75 , only win half the battle. How is Kingston SSD ? What speed is their SSD like ?

Didn't know that. Btw I just updated the controller. :o

Oh wait, bear in mind that the current 10.12 AHCI driver on AMD website has an older version of 1.2.001.269

there is a 1.2.001.0275 version bundled with an older release of 10.12 AHCI driver, ironically

I am not sure if they downgraded it because of bugs but someone has confirmed that 1.2.001.0275 has TRIM and said that 1.2.001.0269 does not.

Can read from this discussion
http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/f...CI-10.9-and-Trim&p=587619&posted=1#post587619

User forum so please do not take anyone's word for it and use at own risk.

I got 1.2.001.0275 off a Russian driver website, Google and you will see it

EDIT: Oh sharks 1.2.001.0275 only on Vista.

Hi Guys,
Currently have a Asus U3S6 (USB3 + SATA 6 GB/s) PCI-E x4 expansion card on my Asus motherboard to support usage on USB3 devices.
If I go ahead to have a Crucial RealSSD 64GB connect to the SATA 6 GB/s port, will I get the RealSSD read and write speed? Anyone have try this solution, can I have your comment?
Window 7 support Trim, may I know RealSSD have Trim support?

hey guys,

1) I was wondering if the bittorrent program (or its variants) are to be installed on HDD instead of SSD?

2) Or is it fine to just install the program on SSD but direct the download file into the HDD?

Thanks in advance
