Thinking of doing on my 32gb phone.
Anyone has tried it yet?

confirm the price and terms first.. upgrading the storage isn't an easy task at all as it is a chip level repair. You'll lose all your files plus it has a huge risk of bricking unless they're really really skilled at it.

I did the upgrade with them for my 6s from 16gb to 128gb. Gotta back up your data first as it will wipe out everything. Using the new capacity for more than 6 months. So far so good, everything still fluid smooth.

how much did it cost? Any chance you know what brand is the memory chip they used for the upgrade?

Depends on your phone. 158 for iPhone 6

Your better off just buying 128gb iphone

If remember correctly should be around 190 bucks. Too bad I'm not aware of the chip they are using. Most importantly, it doesn't slow down my phone and has been working well since then.

Well. For some users, apps and other contents eventually built up after awhile. Since warranty is over, no harm trying also. Better than clearing contents every now and then.

memory upgrade is safe as long as the technician handling it is very experienced .

many people upgrade their 6s / 6s plus to 256gb .

this is good. buy low capacity and then upgrade after warranty lapse
