Strange system issue

It might just be a compatibilty issue with RX480's and UEFI/Legacy bios.
IIRC some cards has a switch to change between legacy/uefi like rx480 from sapphire.
What make is yours? try toggling the switch if it has 1(it's a small switch so look carefully.

Check also if your Windows 10 is using UEFI or Legacy BIOS....go to search windows and type msinfo32 and hit enter.
In the right pane of System Summary in System Information, see if the BIOS Mode item has a value of Legacy or UEFI.

You might then either turn on CSM compatibilty mode to uefi or legacy support in your MB bios usually in the boot section.

I noticed this option in the Bios. Will try it out. Ironically AMD GPU don't play nice with AMD CPU. Nvidia was a plug and play case. Haha.

Did you buy the 480 second hand? If yes, it may be on a mining BIOS (not UEFI) or even have damaged power components or a physically modified power rail.

It came from a trusted source and he confirm he don't mine with it. I probably send it back to Corbell to test it out since I don't have a spare parts or rig to easily test this out.

Anyway, second day running on HD4550 and it looks stable, and no problems booting. Gotta make a trip down to Corbel to test it out on their end.
