A) engage iBs during election time to spread the message the PAP is heading for another super big landslide victory increasing to 80%
B) create phantom bookie predictions that PAP are going to win all seats. Not a single seat for opposition left.
C) stop having rallies that mainstream media cleverly used by displaying pictures of the huge turnouts on prime pages which were not done before. Likely done to scare the people of the huge support for opposition and not because they suddenly decided to do more balance reporting. Have press conferences instead and post all over social media. Send phantom supporters to PAP rallies to show pAP support is increasing.

Basically try to get people to be become fearful that oppo is heading for total decimation.

Kind of agree, if it is from peak fall sharply again as demonstrated in 1972, 1984 & 2006, the expected vote share will be 59.9%, just barely back to 2011's standard except the need to struggle against new citizen's votes.

For an effective opposition to form, a vote backlash of 20%+ within a GE will need to achieve, which is near impossible as that had never happened before.


For opposition to stand any chance in future, they will need to make themselves appeal to new citizens as well.

But new citizens would probably want to bring their fellow family from hometown to here, and we want to stop (kind of impossible to send them back due to sheer amount of inter-cultural / country marriages) the trend.
