Hi all gurus, just built my new PC last Sun and initial testing was all fine. But somehow today after I restart my PC, it just went into black screen before showing no video input(alternate between these 2), cpu/kb/mouse lights all still running.

I tried doing ctrl alt del during the black screen and somehow the PC proceed to restart as per normal(Same bug happens when exiting bios and restart). Tried shutting down and boot up, it brought me to windows repair saying that I did not shutdown properly. Any idea how to resolve this bug? Fast boot is disabled in bios too.

Specs updated on the side.

Thank you for your time...

Why do you have a Katana Blaster? Try removing that, re-seat the RAM, re-seat your GPU.

The katana blaster is my PC soundbar. Alright will remove that then re-seat ram + gpu and test again. Any chance of it being win10 issue?

Doubtful if you are not even seeing BIOS and win boot screen

The best thing to do under these circumstances is to disconnect everything including HDD’s, SSD’s etc and connect the bare minimal to see if you get the machine to POST. If that won’t happen then the problem is possibly with the motherboard or PSU.

If it does POST try reconnecting one item at a time and test until it happens again to identify where the problem lies.

Hope this helps :)

After I did ctrl alt del during black screen, it restarted properly for me to see bios then subsequently boot into windows just like a normal restart. Something seems to be messing up the initial restart process.

If can see boot screen and also into bios, usually is driver issues.....

Can try get into Safe Mode and uninstall some drivers that could conflict.....
