Study psychology in private school

I don't understand why anyone would want to do a 'private' psychology degree. It doesn't exactly open up much career and further studies opportunities. If there's a keen interest in psychology, would suggest anyone to just go to the library to borrow books and journals to read. Most jobs don't really fancy/prefer/need a psychology qualification.

Easy to understand. Cant do science/math, left with arts/biz. Biz too competitive with so many people doing it, and not as interesting as psych. So choose psych mah. Although psych has not much prospects, its just fun to learn. Enjoy school life, but suffer later after graduation.

Unrealistic hopes and ideals. Everyone thinks that they will succeed and that they will be the exception from the trend because they will work hard and etc etc. But they haven't seen what its really like out there.

Ok lah, dun be too pessimistic also. Top up with a local Msc loh, maybe PhD too..

very true. but still, its good to have goals and remain hopeful and fairly optimistic. also, success differs for everyone, know what you want and dun just follow the herd.
