tks. can advise where in SLS you got this? I was looking for a stylus a few weeks ago in SLS, but the ones I found were too short. the ozaki L seems much closer to the size of a normal pen, so am keen

tks for your help!

I saw this at Popular at Thomson Plaza, but it was $40+!

"About a week ago I bought a new hard drive and while installing it today I discovered that the antistatic protective film that had covered the hard drive was messing up my HTC HD2's touch screen. The light bulb switched on and I had an idea.

In this video we show you how to create a free capacitive touch screen stylus out of a common piece of antistatic film. As many people know capacitive touch screens use an electrical impulse created by the operator's body to register a touch point on the screen. The only problem with this is that if you are wearing gloves or need to make a precise touch point, capacitive screens do not work well. Most likely many if not all of our tech-savvy readers have a piece of antistatic film lying around. Simply cut the film to the desired length, roll it up, and (if you want) attach a piece of tape to hold it in place.

For this stylus I had used the silvery-metallic looking antistatic film, I have not yet tried the crisscross pattern film or the pink film. Let us know if they worked for you. And if you want an actual capacitive stylus check out Brandon's capacitive stylus post. "

I've tried pasting a piece of antistatic film on my stylus round tip but does not work very great...the line appear on n off when draw on iPad...not much difference if i use without the film..

I have this one - it worked great when new, and on the iPhone 3GS.

by the time I got my iPad, the tip was misshapen and quite hard to write on the iPad, like having to drag the pen on a very large resistive area (which is what the iPad is compared to the iPhone).

it now seems to work well only in slo-mo.

40 is damn expensive considering that I can order from amazon at 15. The extra cost I can use to offset my shipping for other stuff that I order at the same time lol

Frol what I read so far, looks like Boxwave iPad stylus is better than the Pogo Sketch. Does anyone know where I can buy Boxwave in Sg? How much to budget for?

Ifinger L is not bad. Since got a pen tip on the opposite, its weight heavier, like a pen and the tip seems to have better respond. i like it. Can buy from challenger or popular.

I owned Pogo Sketch, the tip seems to fragile. and feel is not that great.

I tried iFinger in SL on my iPad penultimate app and it sucked, can't write properly. I didn't try pogo sketch but from all accounts it looks like an over-rated stylus.

I think the online reviews that rated these stylus well is mostly referring to their "sketching/drawing" ability? These activities are relatively forgiving. I think the real test is if they can write words easily.

I recently bought a Rumiere stylus from the Mac store on the 6th floor of SL for $17. It's not bad at writing, only problem it's too short, about 2 inches.

Still trying to see if anyone knows where to get the Boxwave stylus in Sg. Still looking for my ideal stylus.....
