Hi fellows. I'm interested in using the 5s (hence the device must be lightning port-compatible) to record some events (with dialogue) & thus am looking for a better microphone than the built-in one. Most of the stereo ones I came across are for the older 30-pin dock connector & their design is, I feel queer, if the phone is in the landscape orientation. Example of what I think isn't very good (in terms of orientation):

Anyway, the use case is in a small room (definitely not lecture theatre scenario) & the person filming is not the same person(s) speaking (person recording & person speaking are around 1-2metres apart).
I'm looking at the "iPhone boom mic" from PhotoJojo, but looking for folks who have experience with such gear to pitch in. Thanks for any sub-$100 recommendation.
