Sufficient for mSATA 24gb?

Hey there, I would like to know if 24gb mSata is sufficient for a fresh install of a Windows 7. I've got a 240gb ssd and a 24gb mSata, was thinking of installing the OS in mSATA but not sure if there's enough space with windows updates, drivers etc. Any recommendation or opinions out there?

I believe that installing win 7 should be fine.

However, I note that some software cannot be installed other than the OS drive (or rather the main drive). Therefore, in the long run you might use up all the available space.

Also I read somewhere that it is wise to leave about 80% of the SSD capacity free for performance.

I was just thinking of installing Windows 7 in the 24gb and the rest of the software in the 240gb. But I'm not sure if 24gb is sufficient for a fresh installation of w7.

Windows 7 32bits should be taking up 16GB and Windows 7 64Bits should take up 20GB space.

But you should not use the 24GB for primary storage installation. There are some essential files that you need to install in the primary storage space and you will soon run out of space.
