dHi Guys,

Been out of the DIY scene for a long time. Decided to setup a new PC with the following requirements.

1. Basic office processing like Microsoft Office suite
2. Web surfing
3. Playing of games, specifically COD Modern Warfare.
https://www.tomshardware.com/news/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-2019-system-requirements
4. Need to have 2 HDMI, one to may Samsung TV, and one to a PC monitor (yet to buy)
5. Preferably ITX form factor.

Was looking at
1. Asus ROG B450-I Gaminh
2. AMD Ryzen™ 5 3400G with Radeon™ RX Vega 11 Graphics

Any comments?

3400G will have bare minimum GPU power for modern warfare. What is your budget

Lucky I asked! I have not set a budget thought.

Pleas help me understand.

CPU
On the website, it's stated as the recommended CPU is AMD Ryzen R5 1600X and Competitive CPU is AMD Ryzen 1800X. What's I'm looking at is AMD Ryzen™ 5 3400G , shouldn't it be much better?

GPU
On the website, it's stated as the recommended GPU is Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / GTX 1600 or Radeon R9 390 / AMD RX 580 and Competitive GPU is Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 / RTX 2070 Super or Radeon RX Vega. What's I'm looking at is Radeon™ RX Vega 11 Graphics , shouldn't it be much better?

Thanks! Super confused now. LOL

Tbh, gaming on IGPU isn't really recommended most of the time, you will be fine with the vega 11 on cod mw, but fps hovers at 50-90fps on low-normal settings (mainly hovering at 60 tho).
The dips in frames in general seems to be too much.

If you're into gaming, really would recommend a discrete card.

OK. What GPU would you recommend?

Really really depends on how much you're willing to spend. If youre gonna get a GPU, no point getting the G series of Ryzen already. Might as well go for the r5 3600 or 3600x and pair it with a 2060 super
