suggestion for mitx gaming rig

Hi all, intending to build a mini itx rig for gaming.. my previous thread got buried

anyway, i intend to get the following:

MSI H87i Mini ITX + 4670 ……………………..475
Corsair Vengeance 1600M CL9 L/Profile 8gb …122
MSI GTX760 OC Mini ITX 2GB …………………………….489
WD 1TB Blue ………………………… 78
Asus Xonar U7 7.1 USB Sound Card........149
Jonsbo V6 ..................89

will be reusing my current ssd and psu..

need help with the following qns:
1) any shops in SLS carry all the items i listed above? i intend to get all the parts in one shop instead of getting from a few different shops
2) is my PSU be sufficient to run the system?
3) any parts that i can improve on so that it would be more value for money?

intending to keep budget max at 1.5k

Why do you intend to go for itx rig? Space issues?

A lot of money being channeled to wrong stuffs.

With that money you could land yourself with a better gpu. Like the r9 280x

The sound card remove could give you an ssd.

yes space constraint..

i already have an existing ssd so i am considering getting a sound card instead..

anyway for the graphics card.. due to casing constraint maximum only 200mm.. would the card fit?

Not aimed at you TS, but really is it so hard to google for a bit of info nowadays that threads like these are getting really rampant?

Anyway I've done your 5 mins homework for you.

The case will take 200mm cards, msi 760 is 170mm.
Your current PSU is more than enough.
If you're going to be still using your T40's, should consider removing the sound card and using that money to get a z87 board instead since it wont do much help unless you will be using that 7.1 channel output.

Some z87 ITX boards with pretty decent on-board audio or even integrated sound card :
ASRock Z87E-ITX
ASUS ROG Maximus Impact
MSI Z87I Gaming

You do not have to get an unlocked processor if you're gonna get a z87 board, as many people would say here. Z87 boards bring with them many other features other than overclocking, such as more sata ports, more usb ports, msata slot, better audio etc.

If u can wait the Corsair 250D is coming..

Can house a long gpu and good space to work around with should fits right within ur budget, with ur budget can get 280x and a better psu Liao...

If u can DIY go tradepac buy and ask for more discount ~

I did consider the new corsair casing but the depth is too deep... As such, I have to settle for the jonsbo 1..
