Suggestion for new COVID subsection

Hi Admin

I suggest consideration for HWZ to create a new forum subsection to help consolidate threads, information for forum members on positive covid.

This will be invaluable as more and more ppl get tested positive both as source of community support and self help.

The purpose is not to replace medical help but as Sg medical infrastructure gets stretched we can all do our part to help.

Actually all these threads will just create more FUD.

Just refer to MOH guidelines and understand some basic protocols. ie if you are out of breath or having chest pain, call ambulance.

It would be better if mods just flat out banned any "discussion" of "treatments" that are not the official MOH guidance. After all, spread FUD and fake news on here for what? It's not like EDMW can influence MOH.

Right now it looks like there's 20-30 new Covid threads a day that always devolve into the same anti-vaxx / Ivermectin nonsense that may even impact some members to endanger their lives by seeking "treatment" based on conspiracies.

Clean house and insta-ban these accounts and EDMW can return to the irrelevant social discourse it's meant to be.

I suppose a benefit of having a separate sub forum is that people don't jam up existing ones I.e. edmw.

Then again, it won't stop edmw from being jammed by covid threads.

Some irresponsible clowns may give the wrong advice.

Some vulnerable members may fall prey to wrong advice.

I don't think the forum admin and moderators want that to happen.
