thanks for the quick response but I forgot to mention that I already have a casing(Lancool K62), dvd drive, OS & possibly ram too (think I have 2x2gb ddr3 1333mhz lying around)

Possible to get better cpu? maybe i5 or i7

For your usage, i3 is quite gd le... U are not playing any games, or maybe FB games nia.

4gb ram may not be enough or will run out fast if u open too many tabs. 8gb is to play safe.

I do play some games la, more on sports game (i.e. fifa) but nothing very tough on graphics.
