Hi everyone,
I am looking to upgrade my cpu to a 5800x. I understand that this is the hottest (literally) cpu even compared to the 5900x, so was wondering if the ID cooling se 224 xt is good enough for cooling this beast.
I have seen good reviews for this, and its rated at 180w tdp, so since the 5800x is rated at 105w tdp, I felt it should be ok.
My casing is the lian li 011d, where the clearance given is ≤155mm for any air coolers, and this se224xt seems to fit just nicely at 154mm.
Would there be any other comments on better coolers or if my reasoning is not sound enough?
Thank you.
