Why Burberry? But I'm sure there are much better 'non-branded' ones like those at Saville Row?

What's your budget? No need to get 'luxury brands'. Just pop by a tailor at Saville Row and get them to do something for you.

Local tailors look for under $2k for a suit from high-end tailors. The usual suspects include: Dylan & Son, Kevin Seah, Kay Jen and HST Tailors.

Under $2k should get you a decent Canvassed, Wool (non-branded fabric) suit.

Based on my understanding of the other thread, it seems like getting a tailored suit is better than branded off-the-rack suit. This is because:
-the fit is customised specifically for you
-you are not limited to what's in-fashion (chose your own design, fabric, colour, details, etc)
-personal consultation from tailor
-pricing is similar for similar material "branded" suit

Above list is not exhaustive and is my persobal opinion. Hope it helps!

i realised that 1k is too low a bar LOL
i recalled walking into ben sherman and their jackets were 1300s so i guess savile row has to be SGD 3k after exchange rate

probably hardly singaporeans go there and make suits, most people support local or BKK ?hahahaha

BKK because of low price point. Local because of convenience. Also, for a properly made suit the process takes up to weeks-tailors that promise 24hr services deliver v poor quality products. A good tailor would probably ask you back for multiple fittings to adjust the fit until it's close to perfect.

Anyway if you have he time and luxury of budget I guess doing one in Saville Row would be an experience. Otherwise local tailors may more than fit your requirements.
