nv buy yet, me go funan dell store to see and saw the text fringing, that why till now nv buy yet.

i wanted 34inch ultra wide dell new model (gen 2 oled, same as gen 1 tech as in subpixel layout) while dell 4k 32inch is 4th gen

so might go for dell 4k 32inch but now waiting for dell funan store to display the new 34inch ultra wide first then decide

if i get 4k 32inch me will still set the size of text to 125 or 150%. text to small for my eye.

i will test when dell shop or any shop that let me adjust some setting their monitor once the new model ultra wide is here

Hey Yongkit, are you still using the Samsung 27-inch G81SF 4K OLED monitor? If so, I have a few questions.

1. How much did you spend on the monitor?

2. What games have you played on the monitor?

3. Have you ever felt frame rate limited? (I assumed you're using a 7900XTX)

4. How is your overall experience with the monitor?

Thank you.

Hi,

I got it S$1,772.28 at launched with 20% discount.

2. What games have you played on the monitor?

since i got it mostly try on FF16, RDR2, RE4, FF7 remake & Stellar Blade, Forza Horizon and occasionally COD fps

3. Have you ever felt frame rate limited? (I assumed you're using a 7900XTX)

most of time i turn off overlay if game is smooth and no real felt on frame rate limited except ff16 running at 4k is too demanding i need to use FSRAA + FG. Yes still on 7900XTX

4. How is your overall experience with the monitor?

Overall i have very good experience it over the LG 1st gen OLED, the screen uniformity is better and color is more vibrant, and i also try Apple TV on both LG & G8.

G8 with better streaming because of native 4k high ppi and also utilised better with HDR10+ on Apple TV.

Previously just 2 months before, Edge and Chrome was lack of HDR supporting given me the resort to choose beta Edge & Chrome to stream HDR 4k on Netflix, now the updated Edge & Chrome have better HDR & 4K ultra streaming without need to use the BETA Edge & Chrome for Netflix and getting close to Apple TV.

main reason i choose this over other 27 4k OLED was the matte screens (personally prefer matte only which is why i waiting so long to get this 27in 4k matte) & flexibility in monitor menu even when HDR is enable the setting is just as flexible as in SDR control which other monitor have the limitation to adjust example below setting are normally locked in other models:

Brightness, Contrast, Shadow Boost, Gamma, Color Temp, Power Saving

if you curious do i regrest getting this unit? my answer is 100% no.

if it is better then LG WOLED 1st Gen ? Yes definately especially no text fringging from every angle based on my close to 2 months usage now.

4k 240 27 inch how much now??
Depends what model you wanna buy. Aw2725Q I bought for 1k.

thinking of getting either one of these to replace my 42C3:

PG 27UCDM for 1.6k
PG32 UCDM for 1.7k (sale period)
Upcoming Asus 32 inch true black Oled monitor.

Now thinking whether 27 or 32 is better, I have AW3225QF too, and 27 inch 4k 240hz is very sharp and responsive.
