means not acceptable alrdy la brother
my PC fan "noise" is louder and I barely notice the DWF fan (or even at all). coil whine on the other hand very noticeable to me.
and by "noise" it is very low noise where I have to actively notice in pitch quiet environment with sensitive ears

High chance to get one with coil whine though as you mentioned

not very noisy quite acceptable. however most sets have coil whine issues, I exchanged mine because it was way too loud.
Dont think i can stand monitor having any noise, too distracting.

Actually don't know why an active cooling solution is required. The DW version had the GSync module that requires active cooling, which is quite dumb (referring to the GSync module) but makes sense. The DWF don't come with the module and uses FreeSync. OLED TVs, laptop monitors, and mobile device displays don't seem to use an active cooling solution. Not sure why PC versions are so "special".

I think maybe they anticipate some higher end GPU can really push very high fps and further increased the monitor refresh rate to another level need more cooling
