Is indeed a storeman. the signal sets are heavy man no joke. basically you will be in charge of a store with comms equipment and a lot of sai kang

I used to be a comm storeman. good or no good depends on your superior. work is more than other storeman, responsibility also higher. good thing is the stores are air-con, don't think there's still signal stores without air-con now.

general work is paper work, making sure all equipments are in working condition, sending equipments for periodic maintenance. one of the better place to be in camp, time pass quickly when you are busy.

mixture of desk job, moving stuffs and going other camps to send equipments for maintenance or loan from others. i very much prefer such vocation rather than going outfield or sitting in office whole day.

May i ask how was it like being a comms storeman in dieppe?

Simple storeman duties lead by CQ or QM.

It is a stay-out camp and Northpoint will be your favourite hang-out place.

And to be honest, is a nice camp to be in.

usually is stay out but not 100% promise la

dieppe barracks is a few stops further than nee soon camp, opposite khatib camp

for reservist you may be posted to any unit under Gds formation, in which case can be siong + outfield+ overseas exercise depending on unit
