Budget rigs usually don't include z97 motherboards, tho that pcmate is the cheapest z97. But i guess it's a requirement if you want to oc.

Well, for a starter, i think the rig was feasible because it was OC all the way up to 4.5ghz.

Not sure if i can actually do it also

Thanks for the recommendation, in your opinion, should I top up abit more or this will do really fine? Anyway, any upcoming promo or whatsoever?

If it's purely gaming, just get ps3. Your budget is more than enough.

Got this set up online and the person behind this actually OC it to 4.5ghz and the performance is really decent.

Because it is from 6 months ago, i wonder if there is anything to update about this rig?
How to get Windows 8/8.1 for just USD $22 now after the 2013 promo?

And the EVGA PSU price also pretty insane.

Nevertheless, USD getting stronger and international warranty support remains unavailable for many parts. So purchasing whole system for US still seems unfeasible for locals.

Alternatively, TS can actually look at used parts if really tight on budget. You can actually get R9 280x that is still in warranty for the 200-220. There are actually some pretty good deals around if you look hard enough.

as i know asus, asrock and msi. biostar you need to check on google.

i went to ask biostar US email and they said no. dont support after intel banned it in feb 2014. meaning that all manufacturer H81 boards cant overclock after feb 2014. can anyone verify this?

i heard if u can flash the bios version before that date should work.
