I just tested my i7, 5hr with 10 browser tabs, doing office work, with wifi On, brightness at 70%

battery life doesn't seem promising as i need something to last office hours as i might be at offsite sometimes.

Very few device can do that. Over time battery will degrade also.

Indeed. Battery life is a trade off for weight. Kind of difficult to want something powerful, portable and long battery life. I think IPad Pro is quite good but a problem because their software is a "lite" version.

I think if you don't need the full software version, iPad Pro can last 13 hours

Nice. How does kick stand work with it?

This serves as a cover for the whole Surface pro. Kick stand can be adjusted when the cover opens up.

I like it as i can bring it out as it is with the keyboard cover intact as a sleeve.

Great for presentations and meetings which i just bring one leather case with what i need inside.

Plus looks classy not too sure about it being a little thicker but i will not mind since it fits in my hand luggage when i go for my overseas trips.

I find the Surface Pro's screen too glossy.. Very distracting when I can see reflections on my screen. Is there any place that sells and can help to apply an anti-glare screen protector?

3M got the anti glare screen u can opt for normal or privacy
Its thick so application is very easy if u wipe the screen clean

Else u can go for this

with the tempered screen it does help with the reflections this is the best i found so far locally

Thank you! Where do I find the 3M one locally?

Looked at 3M's website. Doesn't seem to have one for the new Surface Pro leh?

I am sure the bigger retailers will bring this product in.

Just need a month or more

Else can direct buy from Amazon but i rather wait for the exact cut out for the Surface Pro than take the generic size

Anyone got lobang to buy i5 set? I'm looking for one. I would also like to hear the reviews from fellow users who have been using it for heavy excel usage. Looking forward to hear from you. :)

i am using the i5 128gb version. So far so good. I am not sure what you meant by "heavy" excel usage. So far I don't find the unit lacking in anyway.

Thanks William. I've excel files which are 8-10mb and it usually kicks my dell laptop fan hard. I'm worrying how the surface pro 5 will handle it.

Portability wise, it should be really good. Still wondering whether I should get this or Eve V.
