My apologies. I think can because the last ai checked, it was for tertiary students and above. Click on the check now and it will prompt you to login your Microsoft account. Then on the list provided, click on the last one where you are required to submit prove that you are indeed a student.

15th Aug is the release date here. Not sure whether local stalls will have stock on 15th.

Was told by MS online chat that if u pre-ordered, ur unit will be sent out from 15th onwards, not 100% send out on 15th. will take 5-7 days to reach you.

I need it for work and when i am on the go.

not sure how long the battery life can take on LTE though.
