Hi bros, I'm switching to prepaid and wish to suspend my postpaid line at $5/month for a few months just in case it doesn't work out I can go back to postpaid. Do anyone know if I can straight terminate my postpaid line during suspension (if prepaid works for me)? My postpaid contract already ended so won't have contract problems.

Thanks bro :). but I read somewhere that someone say once suspend you get into a mini contract for 3 months when you retrieve it to terminate... and then there is penalty (abt $200) unless continue another 3 months? And on one old post on st facebook someone asked a similar question and was answered by an st rep who say no penalty and later her got to pay fine and he voiced out to the same rep.. later that rep apologized and the case not followed up in public so I can't draw any conclusions from it... I'll try to dig out those postings again.. very blur on this.. Those posts are old tho and may not be current policy ..

IDK what's with the different reps giving different info.. this seems to be a common complain that person A calls rep 1, he gets info A1, then person B calls rep 2 about the same matter, he gets info B2... I thought these call centers would have a fully documented handbook for the reps to study and understand the service and give correct answers! so lousy, in the end we don't know what's correct and what's not until the shït hits the fan...

I suggest you call the reps 3-5 times at 1688 and ask the same question. Be sure to do it from your office phone or house phone with free outgoing as calls to these 4-digit hotlines are CHARGED (or cut from minutes) even for your own telco! I found this out when I saw that all my minutes are gone after calling these numbers... I thought it's toll-free!
