Did anyone apply for suss cet modular courses?

I've just received SUSS email, approving my application for 4 undergrad-lvl modules this july semester.
Have to make payment by 14 july. :s22:

Looks like I'm going back to school in the evening after work. :o

Is there any govt subsidy for CET courses? Since you will be taking 4 undergraduate-lvl modules, why not take up an undergraduate course (PT) instead? It will be about the same since you will be going back to school in the evening after work, but the major difference is, you will receive SUSS bachelors degree at the end of your undergraduate course rather than a modular cert at the end of CET course.

I'm already a graduate.
So I won't get any MOE tuition grant for bachelor degrees. I will have to pay full fees if I go ahead with a PT degree.

But as a CET student applying for modular courses, I'm eligible for SkillsFuture training grant that gives me 70% subsidies for each module.
And they say the modules are stackable towards a degree...well...that's many years down the road...I'll decide on it then.

Now, I just want to broaden my skills a bit. :D

I know there is a cap of 60 credit unit/12 modules(for 5cu modules) under the cet subsidy of 70%.
N cet students do not share the same class with degree students.
But i wanna know if there is a limit to the number of module taken per semester?
N does each modules consist of 6 lessons each like the degree program?
N does each module takes up only a term as well?

No cap or limits in the number of modules you can take as a CET student.
You share the same evening class, same curriculum, same exam as the part-time degree students.
You can only take max 20cu per semester.
Each module has their own number of classes, not necessarily 6 lessons.
Each module takes up 1 term.

I'm only getting 70% subsidy.
Just take the full module price minus off the 70% subsidy, to get the price you have to pay.
You can check here.

Hi,

Can I ask you a few questions?

1. Is it tough to get admitted as CET student?

2. How rigourous is the course?

Thank you for your time.
