Hmmm.. seems like there are many people quitting their jobs and studying full time while still enjoying the part time subsidy from the government. Is this allowed by UniSIM?
Hi, I am not sure whether you are clear about the difference btw unisim full time undergrad programme and the part time mainly for working adults with no age limit. The full-time one is for fresh school leavers, but of course no stopping anyone from joining when they quit work.I am not sure got age limit or not. But the full-time does not enjoy that much subsidy as the part time which is almost 50 to 55% subsidised. So a full time programme could cost $30K for acct while part time may cost only around $18k. Having said this, I do know of people who join the part time straight after ORD cos they have fulfilled the min 2 yrs work experience by serving NS. Also heard got rare few who may have a full time job but quit to concentrate on their part time programme and taking the maximum credit allowed per semester.
Wow, sounds like I am a spokesperson for unisim, but I am just an ordinary parent eagerly awaiting for a placing for my son in the full-time prog. He is still in the reserved list.
