Are we supposed to mail back the obs form in the envelope given?

Hi! Anyone had completed the online admission procedure? I wanted to try doing it but there isn't any back button or exit button along the way. I worried I do not have the sufficent information to complete the procedure. Possible to tell me what is it about? And is it a must for all students to complete the english language skills even though I have gotten B4 for my o level english? (P.S I remembered only students who got below B4 for english need to go for it) Please correct me if there is any wrong info. Thanks!!

Hi all!

I am currently a marketing student in UniSIM. I would like to welcome those of you who have made it into UniSIM and I hope to see all of you when the school start. For those of you who are still awaiting replies from the school, I hope that all of you will get the good news soon, so stay positive till then!

Okay now for a brief summary of what to expect from the e-learning appraoch in UniSIM.

Understand what e-learning entails. E-learning is a platform where learning are conducted via e-media such as canvas network (which the school uses) and more importantly, the internet. Put simply, e-learning is a learning tool and it is a tool that requires a lot of proactive learning on the users' end.

For example, in a usual classroom setting, if you come across a certain term, equation or theory that you have difficulty understanding, you would normally proceed to question the lecturer. In e-learning, however, the internet and other forms of e-media would serve as a secondary mentor that would aid in your understanding of the subject matter at hand.

Personally , I would often use YouTube as it is a great source of information on various topics pertaining to the various modules that you would undertake.

As such, the kind of questions that you should pose to your lecturers in seminars (yes, you only get 6 of them for every module so treasure them), should not be those that could be easily answered by "googling" it.

Anyway for those of you who are weak in English (its okay, my grammar sucks as well), I would advise you to read up more over the holidays and brush up on your essay writing skills. It would come in very handy for your common core modules which comes with quite a number of writing-intensive assignments.

To end off, keep an open mind and remember to have an awesome holiday before your life as a tertiary student begins. Do PM me if you require more info, but I am a bit slow on the reply so do bear with me.

If I am not wrong, the cost of textbooks are included in the school fees already. We just need to collect every year/semester.

Hi, I'm applying tuition loan, study loan and cdc/moe bursary. So I don't have to pay the current tuition fee by the deadline right? Also, the tuition fee is for what time period since it is not stated in the proforma invoice thanks

No you just have to pay the misc fees. Since you are applying for loans, so long as you apply before the deadline, the stated due date is not applicable. Tuition fee is per semester.

I done UCE100 English using my own email
But the second part for SD103: Academic Integrity (Compulsory), i can't login using their given website (stating that i need log in using unisim email and find the course? Anyone finish SD103? Can tell me where you find it, and how u able to login? Or at the beginning should sign up on catalog website using unisim email-.-? Cos I thought canvas and that website diff LOl-.-
