yo bro, anything important/notable for BAEL? like whatsapp group chat or smth?

i didnt go today as i was working.

I only went for part of it eh haha. But from what i know, nope no whatsapp group. Unless im the only one not in it :'(

Nothing really important also. The information they provided can find out on our own one, like how to use the student portal, canvas, submit assignments, what is plagiarism, etc. They gave some general advice on how to cope with studies also. That was about it.

I cant seem to access the time table. Anyone having the same problem?

Same here. 1st try- managed to go into Student Portal but can't open the course timetable. 2nd try- couldn't even enter Student Portal due to server high load.

I guess wait a bit...

How you all check your timetables? I opened Student eService and clicked Course Timetable and this comes out but I can't click on anything... anybody else have this?

It applied to both full-time and part-time for BSWK.

okay i went read the whole thing.

The first part says" "Graduates" of the basic degree in Social Work can register with the Singapore Association of Social Workers . i think this means, AFTER u graduate from the degree,u can register with the sasw. Thereafter, the bottom part put "Graduates are required to meet a minimum of 80% attendance, as well as meet the practicum requirements of the SASW, in order to seek professional recognition by the SASW." I think the attendance one is the requirement to get recognition from sasw, not graduation requirement from suss because this sasw thing takes place after u graduate mah.

not sure if i misinterpret it wrongly

Ya, basically if u wanna be part of SASW after graduation. Another one is get accreditation after you complete the degree and after you clock enough hours to become registered social worker.
