Hi can any HR senior advice me on the difficulty of the following module?
1. HRM 313 Total Reward Design and Management
2. HRM 359 Global Human Resource
3. HRM 357 Workforce Planning
4. HRM 333 Performance Management

Is it difficult? Anything that I need to take note of?

hrm333 is a half of a module i took.before that it was combined with talent mgmt.. this one alot content but all got common sense and the concepts quite easy to understand. just need to memorise the terms, then explanation use own words.

hrm313 the textbook almost 600 page. impossible to memorise one. content heavy. but the questions for this module are quite straightforward as compared to other level 3 hr modules..

as for hrm357 workforce, medium difficulty but can be tough as sometimes, they test on calculations.. formulas given..

However, HR hardest module is hrm373 assessment and selection but i think this sem they revamp it (insider info). the failure rate too much already. Every sem more than 50% lol

doing PT degree, FT job. wasted 20 modules. now left 4 candidature years and 40cu claimable from govt subsidy. totally regretted not attending classes for 2 years. paid for modules and never attend. stupid me. now suffering cause only left 4 years and doing 20cu for every semester. no choice if want to graduate within the 4 year remaining years. sometimes feel like giving up. but no money to pay study loan if withdraw from programme. not sure if anybody in same boat or worst..

i just started and im in Year 1 Sem 1. im wondering if this part-time uni stuff is meant / not meant for me.

if it makes u feel better, i keep having thoughts of transferring program / switching to private uni / just totally forget abt uni and go back to full-time job searching as im no longer young and in my mid-30s.

so far, i paid close to 1.9k in cash.

oh man. should have thought deeply before registering at SUSS! else u’ll be wasting ur money like me!

I'm dying liao, 2nd class tomorrow got class test already. It's alot of self motivated studies. Lecturer ownself say ownself is ownself go read and read and read to understand, he won't go through everything with you one

ya ,technically they are not supposed to go through at all. i think they are more of facilitator than lecturer

Depends job position de.like HR DEGREE WITHOUT EXPERIENCE is only around 1.8 to 2.0 k basic. The reason being, the only hr job u can work as a fresh grad without experience is recruiter (no hr job allow u to start as hr compensation specialist, training and development specialist etc unless internship), and even for recruiter, dont even need degree or diploma, even o level cert can already.

My friend, degree is not a starting pay booster. It is a race extender. In the long run you can definitely go further and higher with a degree as compared to a diploma holder.

same as every uni, u need study ur own .... even lecturer spoon feed also no use in long run, cause there’s just too many thing to teach in span of 3 hrs each lesson...
