Applied for BICT 01/23 intake this morning. Seems rather late into the application period to apply but fingers crossed. Graduated with diploma in IT @ nyp 7 years ago and signed my life to the nation. Hopefully i meet the requirement and is able to get in.

I received a provisional offer from the University for the 2023/01 intake. But i am confused if that guarantees me a spot in the course.

Provisional offer means you have a temporary slot and all the condition provided in the offer is met.
You should receive a final offer subsequently. I think it also meant you would not need to go for an interview.

Any chance to disclose the course you applied for?

I would assume it is listed in the offer.
If it is not, I would think that it will be things like payments, document submission, etc...

Thanks. I just went for the interview which was quite chill tbh. I think if you're called for an interview, it's a good chance you'll get the offer as long as your results are ok. Just need to show your enthusiasm. The prof interviewing us (it was a group interview) said that he was quite impressed with our group because we asked a lot of questions at the end of the interview until exceed half an hour. Lol.

Oh i think i have to take the english course.

EDIT: I checked with HR, she says that i have a spot.
