SUSS-SAF Programe

Anyone who applied for this programe, can share their experience with me? Enlisting in upcoming july and just received a rejection letter from SUSS for full time programme (BSc in Finance) guess its getting real competitive. I am looking at this pathway as it seems pretty interesting to me too.

However, i saw that for the criteria, one needs to have a 2 year full time job. I know NS is considered full time employment, however, i will be going for only 1 year 10 months, what about the remaining 2 months?

I not sure about the remaining 2 months, but for the programme, I think you need to be a regular to be eligible.

From what I know, as long as u complete NS, then unisim will still consider you of course on a merit basis.

Hello, the following sentence was taken from the SUSS-SAF Programme Overview on SUSS website "As part of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) continuing education initiative, non-graduate SAF personnel can pursue an undergraduate education at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) to upgrade their academic qualification". From here, it is evident that this SUSS-SAF programme is meant for SAF personnel i.e. their regulars. So unless you sign up with SAF, I doubt you can sign up for this programme. Anyway, the gist of this programme is that apart from your major from science/arts&SS/business/HRM, it includes a military studies component which normal civilian won't really need and apply in outside world I guess? Things like military technology, campaigning & war studies?!
If you are really interested, you can sign on with SAF. Then have them sponsor you for this degree. 2yrs army is included as part of your SAF contract. All the best.
